Brazilian draughts combine a compact 8×8 board with the tactical character of international rules. They are ideal for practising combinations and multi-captures.

Men
Men move one square diagonally forward, but may capture both forward and backward.
Maximum capture
Capturing is mandatory. When several sequences exist, the move taking the greatest number of pieces must be chosen.
Flying king
A king moves diagonally across any number of empty squares and may land farther beyond a captured piece.
